Cucumber & Chamomile Steam
Cucumber and Chamomile Steam Cucumber has a cooling and mildly astringent effect, while chamomile softens the skin.
2 Chamomile tea bags
2 or 3 drops chamomile essential oil
1 small cucumber thinly sliced
Apricot Kernel Oil
Place tea bags in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Add essential oil and cucumber slices.
Drape a towel over your head and shoulders to to create a tent and lean over the steaming bowl. (check the heat of the steam before doing this)
Keep your face about 4 inches (10 cm) above the water.
Close your eyes and stay leaning over the bowl for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Splash your face and neck with the cooled water. pat dry. Using a small amount of Apricot Oil finish with a soothing massage.
CAUTION: PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN LEANING INTO THE BOWL WITH BOILING WATER. CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNING FROM WATER AND STEAM IF THE WATER IS TOO HOT. IF YOU FEEL YOUR SKIN BURNING IN ANY WAY, REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE STEAM IMMEDIATELY!
